The story of Marevivo spans 3 generations, from the idea of a man whose life is connected to the sea. After the armistice of 1943, by swimming with all his might off the Otranto coast, grandfather Vincenzo managed to save himself from the German attack on the steamship Dubac, in which he boarded in Albania to return to Italy.

After the war, grandfather Vincenzo dedicated himself completely to the sea and fishing, laying the foundation of a long-standing business that would involve his children and grandchildren. His insight was tied to his ambition to do something more than just fishing. So, he first began selling fish, then vegetables, and inspired by his great entrepreneurial spirit, he realized he needed to build an ice house to preserve and manage an increasingly substantial trade. He began intensive trading activities, such as tastings and restaurant services.

Grandfather Vincenzo was also a pioneer in Castro for lobster farming in the natural coves of the bay.

Grandfather Vincenzo passed on his passion for the sea and his entrepreneurial tenacity to his son Antonio. From childhood, Mr. Antonio accompanied his father on his supply trips to the Lecce market. During the journey on the Ape vehicle, from the age of 7, his father would leave him in the villages they passed through to sell fish and then pick him up on the way back.

Today, Mr. Antonio and his son Vincenzo have begun a journey looking toward the future, constantly expanding their business vision. This is how Marevivo was born, a world in the sector of fishing, aquaculture, and seafood trade, along with hotel and restaurant activities. Over three generations they have built an internationally established reality ready to look beyond every boundary each day.

Thanks to daily commitment and long industry experience, MareVivo has developed a solid and efficient structure, making it a leader in the fish market.

In full compliance with all national and EU standards, we guarantee delivery throughout Italy within 24 hours of catch. Our production is aimed at both the end consumer and especially at large-scale retail, including abroad.
