State-of-the-art Purification Plant
Once they reach commercial size and acquire the organoleptic properties of the Bay of Castro, the mussels are purified in our state-of-the-art purification plant. This is a system of mechanical and biological filtration using seawater, properly sterilized through ultraviolet lamps and kept at a controlled temperature.
This process allows us to offer a safe product on the market and to improve product quality, including in terms of shelf-life.
The next step is packaging, which takes place in full compliance with current national and EU regulations and with constantly innovative packaging solutions aimed at environmental sustainability.
Each package is also labeled appropriately.
